Abstract

Time and time again, we discover incredible individuals who impacted their generation with biblical transformation. Sadly, in many cases, this impact has died along with the death of that individual. We not only see this problem in church history, but when it comes to examples of multigenerational missional family impact, the biblical narrative is found wanting.  In most cases, the children of some of our greatly beloved biblical heroes, not only digressed from their parent's path, but also undermined and destroyed the very values and transformation their parents had made. This paper is based on a Master’s thesis with the goal to identify keys that have helped families to successfully transmit their missional inheritance to their children and proceeding generations.
