A Search for a More Loving, Kinder God

Abstract

In response to Miller's lead article in this journal, this present article disagrees with Miller's focus on the cross as the central purpose of the Incarnation, positing that the cross was a means to a greater and higher end in bringing us into adoption as sons and daughters of God. This article looks especially to non-Western church tradition to enrich this understanding.
